The Rochester Guitar Club

hey, my name is Tyler and i have been playin guitar for the last three years, but only started playing acoustic about six months ago. my favorite artists are michael hedges, don ross, Antoine DuFour, and Billy Mclaughlin. I'm only seventeen years old but i love playin fingerstyle.

my guitar teacher is jerry preston and i'm learning a lot from him. we just got finished with a michael hedges piece called the naked stalk. i'm just looking to expand my horizons when it comes to guitar and music and i'm excited to check out my first meeting.

Welcome Tyler... Jerry's a great guy. I played a show w/ him and Kinloch a few months back... he's super talented. As far as your favorite artists, Antoine Dufour is AMAZING.

Tyler- I personally know Jerry and he encouraged me to persue fingerstyle when I fisrt got started with it. He and I play a lot of the same stuff. I'd love to see you come out to a meeting some time!
