• Rochester Guitar Club is happy to announce and support Stephen Bennett's appearance in Rochester on January 16. Stephen, one of the country's premier harp guitarists, comes to us by way of Guitar League and the efforts of Dan Feuerstein. A special thanks to Steve Gretz for offering to put Stephen on his House Concert Series.


• Stephen will be conducting a __**Workshop**__ in Syracuse at the Jowonio School, 3049 East Genesee St. directly across the street from Nottingham High School on Saturday, January 17, 1-4 pm. The workshop is sponsored by the Syracuse Guitar League. • Tickets for the Stephen Bennett __**Concert**__ are $15 in advance, $20 at the door. The concert is at the home of Steve Gretz at 7:30 pm and tickets are limited. Steve will give you directions to his house when you make your reservations or purchase tickets on line.

• There is a new pdf on our website that you can download to print out **RGC business **cards to hand out. It would be on the __**Resources**__ link. Also please forward the e-mail newsletters to anyone whom you think might be interested.


Forum

• If you are interested in becoming more involved in the operation of the **Rochester Guitar Club**, please let us know via the __**Contact Us**__ button on the left side of the web page. You are welcome to attend a Club Core Meeting without obligation to learn more about what goes on behind the scenes and find out if you would like to participate. The next meeting will be at 2 pm, Saturday, February 7, 2009. We currently need the following:

• Concert Committee Volunteers
• Core member planning group members
• Writer of reviews, minutes, etc.
